Prior to joining Exeter, Amanda gained valuable experience working for two leading real estate developers, where she played a key role in managing project budgets, overseeing financial reporting, and implementing efficiencies.
Her accounting career began in 2016 at NexCore Group, a Denver based development firm. She held five positions at NexCore, each offering unique opportunities to build her expertise and refine her skills. She then joined Confluent Development in 2021 as their Development Accounting Manager. Each role in her career has represented a strategic step forward. From her early roles in accounting, where she built a strong foundation in financial reporting and project cost management, to her senior-level positions, where she led financial planning initiatives and oversaw multimillion-dollar budgets, Amanda has consistently demonstrated her ability to adapt, lead, and deliver results.
Education
With a bachelor's degree in finance from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a career focused on growth and learning, Amanda is adept at delivering insightful analysis and fostering collaboration between finance teams and business leaders.
Professional Interests
Outside of work, Amanda is passionate about professional growth and plans to obtain accounting certifications such as the CMA or CPA to strengthen her accounting knowledge and stay up to date on industry changes. She is also committed to mentoring aspiring finance professionals and sharing her knowledge to strengthen her team.
