Exeter is  Vice President – Business Development for The Exeter Group of Companies, including The Exeter Group, LLC and Exeter 1031 Exchange Services, LLC headquartered in San Diego, California, Exeter Trust Company and Exeter Asset Services Corporation headquartered in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and their affiliate companies.  Mrs. Exeter is based in The Exeter Group of Companies’ national corporate headquarters office in San Diego, California.

Financial Services Executive

Mrs. Exeter has been in the financial services industry, including the 1031 exchange industry, since 2015.  She is responsible for sales, marketing, and client relationship management for the Southwest Region, including the states of California and Hawaii.

She began specializing in real estate tax strategies in 2015 with a specialty emphasis in 1031 exchanges, self-directed IRAs and individual 401(k) plans, title holding trusts (land trusts), specialty holding escrows and qualified retirement plan custody services, all with an emphasis in non-traditional assets or alternative investments.

Hiba can assist clients with forward 1031 exchanges, reverse 1031 exchanges, improvement 1031 exchanges, zero equity 1031 exchanges and foreign property 1031 exchanges. She works extensively with escrow officers, escrow assistants, settlement agents, real estate agents, closing attorneys, and accountants in the administration of their clients’ 1031 exchange transactions.

Hiba Exeter is involved with numerous professional organizations including the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA), Institute for Portfolio Alternatives (IPA), Retirement Industry Trust Association (RITA) for trust companies that specialize in non-traditional or alternative investments inside self-directed IRAs and individual 401(k) plans, California Escrow Association (CEA), San Diego County Escrow Association (CEA), serves on the Board of Directors for the North San Diego County Escrow Association (NSDCEA), NorCal Escrow, Escrow Association of Washington (EAW), Arizona State Escrow Association (“ASEA”), American Escrow Association (“AEA”), Escrow Institute of California (EIC), and the Hawaii Escrow Association, as well as the Society of Exchange Counselors (SEC), National Counsel of Exchangors (NCE), various apartment owners association groups, Income Property Management Expo, San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR), Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors (PSAR), Women Counsel of Realtors, and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).
