Lauren Speidel is Assistant Vice President and Regional Manager of The Exeter Group of Companies, including The Exeter Group, LLC and Exeter 1031 Exchange Services, LLC headquartered in San Diego, California, Exeter Trust Company and Exeter Asset Services Corporation headquartered in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and their affiliate companies. Mrs. Speidel has been with the company since 2017.  She is based in Exeter 1031 Exchange Services, LLC’s Midwest Regional Office located in Chicago, Illinois.

Financial Services Executive

Mrs. Speidel has been in the financial services industry, including 1031 Exchange, banking and trust services, since 2005.  She began her career as a mortgage processor for a nationwide mortgage lender. She began specializing in real estate tax strategies in 2007 with a specialty emphasis in 1031 Exchanges, Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs), Private Placements and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).  She is responsible for sales, marketing and client relationship management for the Midwest Region, including, but not limited to, Chicago, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, and Missouri.

Lauren can assist clients with forward 1031 exchanges, reverse 1031 exchanges, improvement 1031 exchanges, zero equity 1031 exchanges, foreign property 1031 exchanges as well as advanced 1031 exchange strategies and structures. She has worked extensively with financial planners, escrow officers, settlement agents, title agents, real estate agents and brokers, closing attorneys, registered representatives, registered investment advisors, and accountants in the administration of their clients’ 1031 exchange transactions.

Professional Experience

Lauren Speidel is very familiar with the 1031 exchange industry.  She worked with Inland Securities and Inland Private Capital located in Chicago, Illinois, for close to a decade, specializing in investment products such as REITs and alternative replacement property options for clients performing 1031 exchanges such as tenant-in-common (TICs) and Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs) investment properties. She previously held her Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. She has also worked in the financial services and banking industries as well.

Lauren is involved in the community as a member and participant of several professional associations, including the Illinois Association of Realtors, Mainstreet Organization of Realtors, and Chicago Area Real Estate Investors Association. She is also active in National Association of Realtors (NAR) and Alternative and Direct Investment Securities Association (ADISA, formerly known as REISA).
